Youth healing the world
GEC Healthy Community is a student-led club dedicated to promoting the well-being of our local community Global Education City in Jeju, Korea through providing diverse service activties in the medical, dental, and pharmaceutical fields.
Our mission is to increase public awareness of healthy habits, disease prevention, and life-saving skills that contribute to a healthier and more mindful society. Through projects such as health-promotion campaigns, first-aid workshops, and educational outreach on balanced diets and mental wellness, we aim to inspire individuals to take active responsibility for their own physical and mental health. By advocating sustainable, healthy lifestyles, we hope to enhance not only the quality of life for individuals but also the vitality and resilience of our entire community.
Our Story
Welcome to GHC, a passionate community of St. Johnsbury Academy students dedicated to health and medical fields. Our mission is to provide youth with opportunities for community service, and our vision is to make our communities healthier, stronger, and more informed. Founded in 2024, we are committed to these goals.
Our journey began with a small group of students who were strongly engaged in the medical/dental/pharmaceutical fields and were inspired by the challenges faced in their communities. With determination and a spirit of service, we started organizing events, workshops, and outreach programs to address these issues.
